Barbara is a Member of the Bristol District and Somerset Association of Healers who are affiliated to the Alliance of Healing Associations. She is a widely travelled international healer who has been in practise for over thirty years.
In 1996 after graduating from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, England she founded The Avalon Clinic of Traditional Acupuncture in Croscombe near Wells, Somerset.

Also a member of the Bowen Therapy European Register she offers the Bowen Technique either integrated into her acupuncture practice or as a stand alone therapeutic treatment.

Barbara is a Member of the UK Reiki Federation an organisation ‘committed to promoting exemplary standards in the teaching and practice of Reiki through research, constant evaluation and continuous improvement, as well as positive contributions towards the process of Voluntary Self Regulation of Reiki’.

In 1999 Barbara founded the Avalon Complementary Medicine Trust, a registered charity which aims to help people living in the South West of England and suffering from poverty or other disadvantage to access complementary medicine.
